Macquarie - Framed Print - 16"H x 20"W

The Macquarie was an iron full-rigged ship built in 1875 by R. & H. Green, Blackwall, London.
She was equipped with two decks and had a forecastle of 42 feet and a poop of 69 feet and had a figurehead which was a likeness of Queen Victoria.
She started life as the "Melbourne", and was renamed "Macquarie" in 1888. she was later renamed "Fortuna" in 1904 and remained so until 1953, when she was broken up in Sydney
